New Year New Resolutions

I can't believe that 2011 is quickly coming to an end. It has been such an amazing year for me and I am beyond thankful for all the great opportunities that have presented themselves this past year. Home Sweet Home

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. I was in California and the weather was incredible. I made it to the beach three days in a row, and even went in the water! Couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and catch up with some best friends. Always bittersweet coming back but while Chicago is my home away from home, Manhattan Beach will always be my home. I miss it already.

Wedding Wednesday: Christmas Wedding

Well, today is my final day in the office before taking a much needed vacation and traveling to LA for Christmas with my family. I might be taking a little break from blogging as well, since I might not have easy access to a computer these next few days. With that being said I hope you all have a wonderful holiday weekend and enjoy plenty of hot cocoa, pjs, present opening and caroling. I know I will be enjoying all of those wonderful festive things! This week I have been really inspired at how some peoples decor really speaks to who they are as a person. You can really get someone's personality based off of what their apartment or house looks like. Weekend Recap!

The weekend has come and gone, and I can't believe that Christmas is a mere six days away! My roommate and I hosted a lovely Christmas party this past weekend, it was so much fun to spend time with good friends and celebrate the season! Take a look:

A Holiday Fete!

Who else is excited the weekend has finally arrived?! I am so excited that it is Friday I can barley contain myself. My roommate and I are hosting a Christmas Party this weekend and I cannot wait to see all my friends and celebrate the holiday. Climbing into Bed

Lately the weather in Chicago has been dull and rainy. Totally not feeling like the festive season that it should. It is awkwardly warm for December and instead of snow it is raining...all this weather is making me want to do is climb into bed with a good book and stay inside all day long. Will this work week ever end?

This last picture reminds me of how my bed looked at my old apartment. Kind of makes me want to push my bed up against a corner again. It looks so comfy, plus who doesn't love the tiny lights around the window?

Wedding Wednesday: Table Settings

Wow, this week has been a crazy one. Part of me can't believe it's already Wednesday and the other half of me just feels like this week is dragging on and may never end....

For today's Wedding Wednesday I have decided to share some table setting inspiration:

I love all of these table settings. I have started to see a trend in having large, long tables at rehearsal dinners and receptions. It really creates an intimate feeling of a family dinner with loved ones that I think is unique.  I also love the chandeliers that are hanging in a few of the above photographs. Stunning and romantic. Sigh, I love them all. What is your favorite?

I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes...

Well, lately I have been getting very exciting for my favorite holiday that is coming up in only a week and a half! I can't believe it is already mid-December. Time has just been flying by, so insane! After this past weekend of pre-Christmas celebrations I have gotten really excited for Christmas to finally arrive. Here are some things that are getting me into the holiday spirit:

Amazing Oscar de la Renta red silk Christmas dress, with a small black bow. Love.

Garlic cheesy bread with marinara dipping sauce. Don't mind if I do.

Weekend Recap

This weekend was amazing! My mom came in town and we had the best time eating amazing food and catching up and celebrating Christmas in the city.

Hugo's Frog Bar, Le Colonial and Gibsons...My stomach is still full thinking about all the amazing dinners I had this weekend.
